Sleep Easy Coaching

About me

Helping others to get a great nights sleep is what I’m passionate about!

My Story

If I didn’t get eight hours sleep a night, I was a write off. That’s how important sleep was to me. Then, out of the blue, I was faced with a personal crisis and my sleep began to suffer.  After months of sleep deprivation, I had completely lost the confidence to sleep.

This lasted for about 12 months. Going to work, managing a home, a family, with often little or no sleep was tough.  How I got through that period without losing my job or having a car accident I’ll never know.

After spending a significant amount of money on various sleep remedies and GP consultations (sleeping pills!) I slowly worked out how to turn it around by utilising some sleep techniques and adopting a mindset change.

I am so thankful now to be able to get a great night’s sleep and the difference it has made to my life is amazing.

Having lived it and come through the other side, I am passionate to help others sleep better.

I live in Christchurch with my family.  I love playing and watching most sports, spending time with friends and seizing the opportunity to try anything new.

"I found the coaching process really empowering. I sorta knew all of the things I should be doing but having someone to help you reflect and look at bit more deeply into what was working and not working has given me the confidence to know how to sleep more deeply - for longer and know how to work out what to do when I am not sleeping well"

"I had the privilege of experiencing Bridgette's presentation on sleep and I was surprised at how much I learnt. Bridgette herself is an engaging speaker, and her powerpoint presentation was informative without too much jargon and therefore easy to understand. As a shift worker I thought I had a good understanding of, and knowledge around achieving effective sleep so I was surprised to realise throughout the presentation just how little I knew. I immediately adopted a couple of the practices Bridgette presented and my sleep has already improved. I would thoroughly recommend Bridgette's service to anyone struggling with sleep issues, or even to those who need to tweak their practices around sleep, or just need a refresher."

"Inspiring and motivating comes to mind when I think of my experience of being coached by Bridgette. The time spent with her was truly transformational. Bridgette is very knowledgeable and has the ability to ask the right questions at the right time. She created a positive, supportive, trusting and respectful environment for me to just be myself and reflect on areas and thinking patterns that needed to change. Another strength was her ability to hold me accountable for the changes I wanted to implement. I always felt empowered and energized at the end of a session. Working with Bridgette may just be the best thing you could do for yourself; not only to install good sleep habits, but also for your overall wellbeing."
